REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2007-2008 SCHOOL YEAR
Saint Michael Academy offers Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade classes. Pre-Kindergarten has 23 Students per class. Kindergarten through 8th grade have 25 students per class. Pre-Kindergarten students must be four years of age before September 1, 2007. Kindergarten students must be five years of age before September 1, 2007. All new student enrollments are subject to a developmental skills assessment to insure successful placement.
School hours begin at 7:50a.m. and end at 2:45p.m. for kindergarten through 8th grade. All students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade attend Mass on Friday (or other specified school day or holy day). An extended day care program is offered to enrolled Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 students. Details on rates are explained in your registration packet.
Registration priority will be given in the following sequence:
Registration January 10-25 1) Current students of the school/ siblings of current students/students of school employees.
Registration February 1 2) Catholic families relocating from another Catholic school.
3) Practicing and supporting members** of St. Michael Parish and other local Catholic Churches with a letter from their Pastor). (Based on length of time and parish support as a parishioner).
Registration: Wed., February 21 4) Those on the waiting list.
5) All Others **
*Supporting Parishioners are defined as those families that are registered Catholic parishioners of Saint Michael Parish who regularly attend Mass on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) and through the use of offertory envelopes contribute to the parish.
**All others includes families of other faith traditions or non-supporting Catholic families.

TUITION Tuition:(K-8) (Practicing and supporting parishioners of St. Michael’s): Each Child: $3650.00 Catholic families who donate regularly through the use of parish envelopes will be charged $3,650.00/year. Those Catholic families who do not use envelopes will be charged $4,650.00. Tuition: (K-8) Non-Supporting Catholic families and those families from other Faith Traditions: Each child: $4,650.00 Tuition: Pre-K: $2,800.00 per child REGISTRATION Registration Fees:( non refundable unless the school determines that a student is not accepted at this time). $ 350- first child, $300.00 for each additional child. FEES All fees are non-refundable Curriculum Fees:Only one Child: $350.00Two or more children: $650.00 per family
Total student costs: Registration Fee: $350 for1st child; $300 for each additional child Tuition: $3,650 (Parish) $4,650(Out of Parish , $2800.00 (Pre-K) *Curriculum Fee: $350 or $650 per family *Fundraising Fee: $250.00 per family (Breakdown: School ($175.00) and PTA ($75.00)
The Curriculum and Fundraising Fees can be paid over a 10-month period.
TUITION PLANPLAN #1: Payment in Full – due August 16, 2007.
PLAN #2: Semi-Annual Tuition – Payments are due August and January.
PLAN #3: FACTS Monthly Payment Plan. Payments budgeted over 10 months, beginning in July, 2007. Payments can be made on either the 5th or the 20th of the month with automatic withdrawal from your checking or saving account. There is a FACTS fee of $41.00 per year.
PLAN #4: Monthly Credit Card Payments: Payments on the 5th or 20th of every month beginning in July, 2007 via credit card (VISA, MC, American Express). There is a 4% administrative fee for any amount paid by credit card. Those families not making payments by the due dates will be assessed a late fee of $50.00. Families making payments with insufficient funds will be assessed a $30.00 fee. |
Extended After School ProgramWe offer an extended Day program for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade8. Fees are as follows: 7:00a.m. - 7:45a.m. - $5.00 Noon- 6:00 p.m. (Pre-K) & 2:45-6:00 p.m.. (Kgn-Grade 8) $8.00 an hour OR One Child: $15.00 a day Second Child: _ $10.00 a day Third Child: $ 5.00 a day $5.00/day for any additional children
NEW STUDENTS APPLYING TO SAINT MICHAEL SCHOOL Students need to submit the following: 1 Copy of their baptismal certificate (Catholic students only). 2 Copy of their birth Certificate 3 Copy of their Social Security card 4 Number for Parish Envelopes
5 Copy of their most recent report card. 6 Copy of their most recent standardized test scores (i.e.,ITBS, CTBS, FCAT) 7 Registration Fee of $350.00-First Child: $300.00 for each additional child. 8 Bring a blank voided check or your savings account number for F.A.C.T.S. tuition plan. 9 Administration and testing fee- $50.00 due on the Day of testing. (Students who will be in Gr. 2 - 8 for the 2007-08 school year on March 31 from 9-11:00 a.m.) Notification of Acceptance: on or before April 4, 2007
